Before you contact us

Two buttons in the app solve most problems by themselves:

Check Game Log — reads game.log.txt and pins every error to the mod that caused it. Often tells you exactly which mod to remove.
Restore Previous Order — if your game stopped working after applying a new order, one click puts your old order back. The button appears in the app the moment you've applied.

How to report a bug.

The more detail you give us up front, the faster we can fix it. The app does most of the gathering for you.

Open the app and use Help → Report a problem. The Doctor builds a full diagnostic — your app version, OS version, game version, scan summary, and recent activity — and copies it to your clipboard in one click. No personal data is included.
Paste it in #bug-reports on Discord, or email it to us. Either route works. Discord is faster because other users often chime in with workarounds. Email is fine if you'd rather have a private thread.
Add a one-line description of what you were doing. For example: "Clicked Apply to ETS2 and the app froze for 30 seconds, then nothing happened." The diagnostic tells us what — your description tells us when.
If the app crashed entirely, a separate crash dialog will pop up with a Copy button. Paste that too — it includes the technical traceback we need.
We'll respond within 24 hours on weekdays. If we can reproduce the bug, we'll usually fix it in the next release. If we can't, we'll come back to you with questions.

Account & billing

I lost my licence key.

Log in to Gumroad with the email address you used to buy. Your purchase (and the licence key) will be in your Library. If you can't access that email any more, email support@truckmoddoctor.com from your new address with the old one in the message — we'll verify and reissue.

My licence key isn't working.

Make sure you've copied the whole key (including dashes) and that there's no leading or trailing space. If it still won't activate, email support@truckmoddoctor.com with the key and we'll check it from our end.

I want to move my licence to a new PC.

Email support@truckmoddoctor.com with your licence key and we'll release it from the old machine so you can activate it on the new one. Usually sorted within a few hours.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Log in to Gumroad with the email you used to buy, find your subscription under Purchases, and cancel from there. Your access keeps working until the end of the period you've already paid for.

Something's not working but I don't think it's a bug.

That's fine — open a support ticket on Discord or drop us an email anyway. If we hear the same question from a few users, we'll add it to the FAQ.
