What you get when you subscribe, what we expect of you, and what we can't promise. By using Truck Mod Doctor, you agree to these terms.

You pay £1.99/month or £15.99/year. You get a licence key that unlocks the load-order and diagnosis features for as long as your subscription is active. You can cancel any time. One licence covers one PC at a time. We don't refund delivered licence keys, but we will make it right if something we sold you is genuinely broken.
Truck Mod Doctor (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a desktop application for Microsoft Windows that helps players of Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator scan and organise their game mods. The app is operated independently from the United Kingdom. We are not affiliated with SCS Software, ProMods, or any other game or mod developer.
When you subscribe, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on one personal computer at a time, for the duration of your subscription. The licence covers personal, non-commercial use only.

The app is sold as a recurring subscription via Gumroad. Prices are listed on the pricing page and are inclusive of any applicable taxes Gumroad collects on our behalf.
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel. To cancel, log in to your Gumroad account and cancel the subscription there. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for — your access continues until then, after which no further charges are made.
If we change our prices, the new price applies to the next renewal of your subscription. We'll notify you by email before any price change affects you.
If a renewal payment fails, your access to the online features (load order and diagnosis) is suspended until payment succeeds or you cancel. Your locally-installed copy of the app keeps working for scanning and conflict detection.
Truck Mod Doctor is a digital product delivered immediately. Once we've sent you a licence key and you've activated it, you've received what you paid for, and sales are final.
You can cancel your subscription at any time — when you cancel, your access continues to the end of the period you've already paid for, but no further charges are taken.
If something we sold you is genuinely broken — the app won't run, your licence key doesn't work, the load-order service is down for an extended period — email support@truckmoddoctor.com and we'll make it right. That's not a refund policy; that's customer service.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including any right to cancel within 14 days of purchase under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 where it applies. By activating your licence key, you consent to immediate delivery of digital content and acknowledge that this waives the 14-day cancellation right for the activated portion of the service.

The app is provided “as is”. We've built it carefully and we use it ourselves, but truck-game modding is a complex environment and we can't promise:
The app reads your game profile and writes a new mod-order list to it, having first made an automatic backup of the original. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of your game saves and mod folder.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the app — including loss of game saves, loss of progress, time spent troubleshooting, or other inconvenience.
Where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the total amount you've paid us in the 12 months preceding the event that gave rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator are trademarks of SCS Software. ProMods, RoExtended, RusMap, and other mod names mentioned on this website or in the app are the trademarks or community-recognised names of their respective creators. Truck Mod Doctor is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or otherwise connected to SCS Software or any mod creator.
The app integrates with Anthropic's AI models for the load-order and diagnosis features, and uses Gumroad for payment processing. Your use of those features is also subject to the relevant terms of those third parties.
You can stop using the app at any time and cancel your subscription via Gumroad. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for.
We may suspend or terminate your licence and your access to the online features if you materially breach these terms — for example, by sharing your licence key, attempting to bypass usage limits, or using the app for illegal activity. Where the breach is fixable, we'll usually contact you first to give you a chance to fix it.
On termination, your right to use the app ends. The locally-installed app will stop working for the online features; the offline scanning and conflict detection will continue to work because they run on your PC.
We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect new features, changes in the law, or feedback from users. If we make a material change, we'll update the “Last updated” date at the top of the page and notify you by email where the change affects you directly. Continued use of the app after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute, except that nothing in this clause prevents a consumer resident in another part of the United Kingdom from bringing proceedings in the courts of their home jurisdiction where mandatory law gives them that right.
